Can protein shakes prolong your life?

A recent discovery as shown that consuming the amino acids found in protein shakes can in fact lengthen your life span by up to 12%. That’s a whopping nine years for the average UK male.

 

How is this possible?

 

The amino acids found in protein and digested when you consume your protein shake can actually help the activation of mitochondria in cells, which in turn slows the aging process.
